Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! 🎉

Without you, there is no Gimkit. And we’re not just talking about financial support or site visits.

You help us improve with your feedback and support us with your memberships, of course.

But you also inspire us to be better, pushing us to develop tools that can match your creativity and ingenuity for teaching your students.

With everything going on in the world, from a global pandemic to geopolitical tragedy, education is more important than ever. Supporting what you do and how you do it is critical and we’re honored to be a small part of how you engage and elevate your students.

This school year, millions of new teachers and students discovered Gimkit. Thousands of schools and districts purchased licenses to cover their teachers. Along the way, we made updates and improvements to Gimkit based on your feedback.

For the first half of this school year, we focused on making teacher-side improvements, including re-building KitCollab from the ground up.

In November, we made Gimkit free. We also switched our development focus radically, focusing on student engagement improvements, starting with Fishtopia, our first 2D game mode and an introduction to a whole new world inside of Gimkit.
